Found on Georgia's historical Cumberland Island, the Greyfield Inn ssatnds as stately and majestic as in its turn-of-the-century origin. The mansion was built in 1901 as a home for Margaret Ricketson, daughter of Lucy and Thomas Carnegie. With its three stories of spacious rooms and aesthetic porches, Greyfield Inn is furnished with Family heirlooms and antiques that give guests a connection to the past. Surrounding the inn are clossal Live Oak trees that give the mansion a feeling of warmth and security. Of recent acclaim, the Greyfield Inn served as the reception hall for the 1996 wedding of John F. Kennedy, Jr and Carolyn Bessette. |
